"It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity." Albert Einstein
Sometimes I feel like a lot of the personal aspects of business have been lost in the shuffle. Years ago, when I worked for Nordstrom, I would write a thank you note to every one of my customers, whether they spent $20.00 or $200. It didn't matter what they spent, it was the fact that they picked our store to spend it in.
Recently I made some online purchases from three separate companies, Le Métier de Beauté, Piperlime, and Poshmark,(check them out when you have a chance) and was pleasantly surprised when I received thank you notes from all three. These notes say to me, that they appreciate the fact that I could have shopped elsewhere, but I didn't.
In this world of light-speed technology and fast paced living, where you can order anything from a pair of shoes to a necklace in a hot minute, It's nice to know that there are still companies out there that actually take the time to thank you for shopping with them.
Thank you: A polite expression of one's gratitude
So on that note(no pun intended), thank you, thank you, thank you for stopping by and checking out my blog.
Happy Friday Everyone!
