NYFW

This time of year brings back so many (fashion related) memories for me. I loved the trips with my mom to our local Buster Brown shoe store, Sears and Marshalls to purchase my back to school wardrobe. I was one of those weird kids who couldn't wait for the new school year to start. I would wear my entire fall wardrobe (even the wool sweaters) within the first week of school. For me, that first week of the new school year was like my very own personal fashion week, and the hallways were my runway.

Even the walk to the bus stop was exciting. Although the weather was still warm, there was always that small hint of fall in the air, even the birds sounded different to me. Everyone and everything, seemed to be in preparation mode for the upcoming season, and with each season, even from a very young age, came inspiration to reinvent my existing wardrobe, or incorporate something new.

This year I have been very intrigued by the menswear inspired styles and I am really excited about putting together some great outfits with this look in mind.  Here are a few, that will hopefully be joining the rest of the fall line up in my closet.  I love each of these three looks because they are structured, yet at the same time, very feminine.
