What I Wore ~ Pearls and Lace

Well, The fall chill is definitely in the air, so I wanted to get one more shorts post in before it gets too cold. A few weeks ago my family gathered at my moms house in Maryland to celebrate Nanny's 100th birthday. Ocean City is a beach town, so naturally I was a little over dressed! (Shocking!)

I'm pretty sure I get most of my sense of style from my grandmother. I still love going through her jewelry box, so I decided to go with a statement pearl necklace to honor her. Even at 100 years of age, all of her jewelry and I mean all, is completely organized. My Aunt and I couldn't believe the amount of beaded necklaces she owns. Love her!!!!

There is nothing like spending time with family, and any excuse to dress up, in my book, is a good one! A great time was had by all (especially Nanny).
